Amherst, N.H. – Edward Ceccherini, executive chef at The Bistro at LaBelle Winery, recently announced a new, seasonally-inspired fall menu for the restaurant featuring a selection of upscale classic French bistro and American dishes created in large part using locally grown and sourced products. The new menu includes several entrees including Maple Sugar Crusted Salmon, wine-braised short ribs and steak frites alongside a number of sandwiches, flatbreads, “Petite Plates,” and Artisan Cheese Slates, which include a selection of cheeses, charcuterie and breads. LaBelle’s wines and house-made “The Winemaker’s Kitchen” culinary products are used as often as possible in dish preparation.

Wine pairing suggestions are included for each item on the menu, and gluten free items are clearly marked. The menu for Sunday brunch changes each week according to what’s in season. The Bistro at LaBelle Winery’s fall menus can be viewed here: http://www.thebistroatlabelle.com/the-bistro-menu/.

Chef Ceccherini, whose former employers include The Savoy Hotel in London, The Ritz-Carlton in Boston and The Westbury Hotel Dublin, says, “We believe strongly in supporting local farmers and producers in both the wine we make and the food we serve. As proud participants in the farm-to-table movement, The Bistro at LaBelle Winery grows or locally sources all our produce and dairy products. As a result, the food we serve is fresh and healthy, and helps to support the local economy.”

New England-based farms and producers that The Bistro at LaBelle Winery sources products from include Contoocook Creamery at Bohanan Farm in Contoocook N.H., Grafton Village Cheese in Grafton, Vt., King Arthur Flour in Norwich, Vt., and Blue Ledge Farm in Salisbury, Vt.

Due to the restaurant’s commitment to serving locally produced food, LaBelle Winery was also recently awarded “Certified Local” status by the New Hampshire Farm to Restaurant Connection. The voluntary designation aims to highlight New Hampshire restaurants that are committed to supporting local agriculture. Designated restaurants must meet criteria that demonstrate the purchase and use of New Hampshire farm and food products.

The Bistro at LaBelle Winery serves lunch and dinner as well as brunch on Sundays. The restaurant is family-friendly and offers a special menu for children.

LaBelle Winery is located at 345 Route 101 in Amherst, N.H. Open daily, 11am – 3 pm Monday and Tuesday, 11am – 9pm Wednesday-Saturday and 10 – 5pm on Sunday.
