LaBelle’s Red Raspberry is sweet, not cloying or syrupy, with lively acidity to balance the sweetness. This dessert wine is fabulous with chocolate or cheesecake, can be reduced and swirled into homemade ice cream or added to Prosecco for a sparkling cocktail. In cooking, a reduction can coat a variety of meats. Drink at room temperature or slightly chilled.

Our Chardonnay finds balance in both body and style due to limited aging in barrel with additional oak infusion. Winemaker Amy LaBelle blends the traditional Chardonnay grape with the cold-hardy Vidal Blanc, creating a wine true to our New England fruit. Malolactic fermentation, a secondary fermentation that converts malic acid to lactic acid, lends a buttery nose, while crisp acidity and floral tones are demonstrated due largely to the addition of the Vidal Blanc. This blend is a wonderful complement to any poultry or seafood dish.
Aged in French oak barrels for approximately 6 months, then transferred to steel tank and infused with French oak cubes for approximately 6 months.
May be cellared up to 5 years.
About Chardonnay: Chardonnay is a green-skinned grape variety used to create white wines. It originated in the Burgundy wine region of eastern France, but is now grown wherever wine is produced. Chardonnay wine tends to be medium to light bodied with noticeable acidity. Wines that have gone through malolactic fermentation, as LaBelle Chardonnay has, tend to have softer acidity and fruit flavors with buttery mouthfeel.
About Vidal Blanc: Vidal Blanc is a white hybrid grape variety developed in the 1930s by French wine grape breeder Jean Louis Vidal. It is a very winter-hardy variety that manages to produce high sugar levels in cold climates with moderate to high acidity. It is grown widely throughout the United States where it is used to produce both dry and sweet wines.
In this rich, velvety decadence, we combine wine made from ripe blueberries and the French hybrid grape Marechal Foch to create a uniquely New England red wine. The touch of blueberry makes this red grape wine a dry yet bold crowd pleaser. It is silky smooth on the palate with berry flavors, floral notes and soft tannins. Perfectly balanced, this wine is neither too sweet nor tart, and is excellent with steak, grilled meats or Italian fare.
Infused with French oak cubes for approximately 3 months.
May be cellared up to 5 years.
About Marechal Foch: Marechal Foch is a hybrid French red wine grape variety that was developed in Alsace, France. It is used to make a variety of styles of wine, ranging from a light red wine to intense dark “inky” wines, and even sweet Port-like wines. Wines made from Marechal Foch tend to have strong acidity, aromas of black fruits and, in some cases, toasted wheat, mocha, vanilla bean, and musk.
What begins with aromas of freshly picked grapes and harvest melts into tastes of ripe peaches, apricots, and honey, balanced by a crisp acidity that keeps this semi-sweet wine lively on the palate. It is perfect for sipping on its own, but would also pair nicely with seafood or spicy dishes. Enjoy slightly chilled.
May be cellared up to 1 year.
Screw-top closure.
