LaBelle Winery

A Note from Amy & Cesar

"Wine to me is passion. It’s family and friends. It’s warmth of heart and generosity of spirit. Wine is art. It’s culture. It’s the essence of civilization and the art of living."

-Robert Mondavi

Winter has finally arrived and thank goodness we have a bright spot to look forward to in all this snow: LaBelle Winery will host a Valentine’s Day Dinner and Dance on Saturday, February 14th! Come dance the night away with your friends and loved ones to enjoy a gorgeous menu with music by the Freese Brothers Band. Cesar and I look forward to enjoying the evening with you!

In the wine Cellar we are thinking toward summer, and working diligently on our new offering: a ready to drink Red Sangria. This Sangria needs a name, so we invite you all to send in your ideas. The winning name applicant will be gifted a case of the new Sangria just in time to enjoy all summer long. Deadline for name submissions is Feb 28th.

We are also working on our first Barrel-Aged Americus, which will be bottled as an Americus Reserve, because we are so happy with the way it turned out. The barrel aging has given Americus a depth of flavor and warmth that is enticing and lingering. We are so excited to get this in the bottle soon, and we will keep you posted on a release date. We are accepting pre-release orders for this special wine, so please send us a message or call the Tasting Room if you’d like to reserve your case of Americus Reserve soon.

In this month of Love and Passion, Cesar and I are so grateful to have the opportunity to work on our passion everyday, and we hope you can taste that in each and every bottle.

Best Wishes,
Amy & Cesar

LaBelle Winery Commissions Work of Art for the LaBelle Winery Art Gallery Permanent Collection

Master Carver Bill Schnute is busy creating a High Relief wood carving mural for LaBelle Winery, to be located in the Gallery Bridge location within the Winery and will be unveiled at a ceremony at the Winery in 2015.  Mr. Schunte, a self-taught Master Carver, whose career began over 40 years ago is well into the process of creating a wood wall sculpture carved of white oak and depicts the living properties of a grapevine above and below ground.  The piece is not only a significant work of art but is also educational in its interpretation.   The intricate and painstaking process used in creating this commissioned piece can be viewed at Mr. Schnute’s Oak Leaf Studio via appointment by email or 603-654-7543.

This project is the first commissioned work by Amy LaBelle, Founder and Winemaker at LaBelle Winery and is representative of the quality of work that Amy LaBelle will collect for the LaBelle Winery Gallery via a soon-to-be-announced Art Foundation created to support artists of all types/styles.  More information will be forthcoming regarding the Art Foundation as the program evolves.

"Thank you so much for allowing the Coalition to host our event at the winery this year once again...

It was incredible day and everyone was once again blown away by the venue and your staff. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Thank you again for everything."
