Americus is a dry and bold red with savory dark fruit notes and loads of pepper on the palate. A blend of Cabernet Franc and the French hybrid grape Noiret, the rich tannin structure pairs well with grilled meats & heavier dishes. This is winemaker Amy LaBelle’s answer for a bold & full-bodied red, sourced from grapes grown in a cooler climate. Compare this wine to a Shiraz.
Infused with French oak up to 6 months.
Can be bottle-aged up to 10 years.
About Cabernet Franc: Cabernet Franc (along with Sauvignon Blanc) is one of the parent grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon. It produces wines similar in style to the more famous Cabernet Sauvignon, but lighter bodied, with less tannin and more aroma. It can have herbaceous (green pepper) aromas.
About Noiret: Moderately cold-hardy grape created from a complex cross in 1973 at Cornell University and it withstands temperatures to -14 °F. Noiret produces wines with a deep red color, good tannins, and unusually robust pepper overtones.
Americus – Winemaker’s Reserve
Our limited release LaBelle Winery Americus Winemaker’s Reserve is a deeply layered and voluptuous result of Amy LaBelle’s French barrel experiment. Eager to delve into true barrel aging, the barrel program began in 2014. The results were even more beautiful than she imagined. In this wine, barrel aging adds complexity, mouthfeel and bigger tannin flavor to our already-loved Americus, creating this premium red wine, which boasts lots of pepper on the palate and rich red fruits. Enjoy with boldly flavored meals and especially
steaks on the grill, or age to see how this gorgeous wine develops.
This wine is not sweet… it’s like a dry, light Merlot in body and style with rich but soft notes of vanilla and fresh fruit. Made with 100% New Hampshire wild blueberries and aged in French oak, this light dinner wine has something for everyone. LaBelle Winery Blueberry Wine is light and refreshing for spring and summer, yet full bodied enough to accompany pork, turkey, chicken, pasta and even grilled meats. This is the first wine ever made by winemaker Amy LaBelle!

Our Chardonnay finds balance in both body and style. Winemaker Amy LaBelle blends the traditional Chardonnay grape with the cold-hardy Vidal Blanc; creating a wine true to our New England fruit. LaBelle Chardonnay is not over-oaked, aging only briefly in French Oak. Malolactic fermentation, a secondary fermentation that converts malic acid to lactic acid, lends a buttery nose, while crisp acidity and floral tones are demonstrated due largely to the addition of the Vidal Blanc. This blend is a wonderful complement to any poultry or seafood dish.
A beautiful marriage of our gold medal award winning wines Seyval Blanc & Red Raspberry, Corazon is a unique, blush wine that is versatile enough to enjoy on its own or with a meal. An off-dry wine, Corazon is excellent with poultry or seafood, and, of course, during all romantic occasions… We recommend drinking this by candlelight! Compare this wine to a dry, French Rosé.
Can be bottle-aged up to 5 years.
About Seyval Blanc: Seyval Blanc is a French hybrid grape that ripens early and thrives in cooler climates. It is planted in England, Canada, and the northeastern United States. The grape produces crisp white wines with citrus notes.
If you like Pinot Grigio, you’ll love this wine! Small batches of our favorite apple varieties are fermented immediately after pressing at a low temperature. This preserves the fruity freshness, yet lends a crisp calvados nose to our flagship wine. A wonderful aperitif, this wine is also excellent with seafood, poultry, light meals, or to balance a creamy, heavy one. Drink this dry wine as you would any white wine. Best chilled.
The next time you enjoy a pear, close your eyes and focus on the extraordinary flavors & aromas of this everyday fruit. “I have always wanted to make a pear wine,” says winemaker Amy LaBelle, “to capture & transform these characteristics into a gorgeous dinner wine.” The humble pear expresses itself with elegance and a crisp acidity in this dry, fragrant table wine filled with soft fruit & floral tones. Enjoy LaBelle Dry Pear wine with salads, seafood, or chicken dishes, or with a beautiful cheese course. This wine also makes an excellent aperitif.
Amy LaBelle made this elegant rich and dry wine from Washington State grapes, where Malbec grapes thrive. LaBelle Malbec, with its deep purple color, is spicy and bold on the palate with a lush and balanced finish. Boasting aromas of violets, dark plums, tobacco and earth tones this wine will please wine connoisseurs who enjoy full-bodied red wines. Aged in French Oak, you’ll enjoy the soft tannins and balanced acidity of this wine. Serve this wine with bold dishes, especially tomato-based dishes, and grilled meats.
Petit Verdot is typically a blending grape used in Bordeaux-style wines, but 2016 Petit Verdot grapes so gorgeous that I couldn’t bear to blend this wine with others. Instead, I decided to age and bottle Petit Verdot on its own. This bold red dry wine expresses strong floral and fruit tones, in particular, violet, leather and a deep tannin structure and leaves a velvety, lingering finish. LaBelle Petit Verdot pairs perfectly with grilled beef, and is also surprisingly good with dark chocolate. Serve just below room temperature.
Winemaker Amy LaBelle performed her style of “Alchemy” blending Baco Noir, Noiret and Corot Noir to create this easy red dinner wine full of fruit, spice and woodland notes that is neither too light nor too heavy. At 1% residual sugar, Red Alchemy is a crowd-pleasing wine delicious with poultry or beef dishes, and wonderful with salmon. Noiret is one of Amy’s favorite grapes to work with and LaBelle Winery grows Noiret in the Pedroso Vineyard, which you pass on your left as you drive into the winery.
