LaBelle Winery is decked out for the holiday season! Seven local florists have each chosen a space in the winery to decorate.  We heartily encourage you to come see the fruits of their labor, which will be on display for the holiday season, from Monday, November 26 through Wednesday, January, 2.

About the Florists:

Harrington Flowers, East Derry, NH
Space Decorated: Bridal Suite
“My inspiration for the designs came from the room: the wallpaper, accent pillows and furniture. I felt the room needed a natural elegant yet rustic look.”

Jacques Flower Shop & Garden Center, Manchester, NH
Space Decorated: Tasting Room, Christmas Tree on the Great Room Terrace
“In the LaBelle Winery Tasting Room, Jacques Flower Shop accented each window as well as the glass panels by the doors with a fresh boxwood wreath with touches of red ribbon to echo the red lampshades over the shelves. The winter garland in the loft area and around the mirror behind the bar is made by hand out of boxwood and Port Orford cedar so there won’t be an overwhelming fragrance or any sap to worry about.  Above the main entrance door hangs a fresh swag with accenting ribbons, etc. and also a fresh swag in the entrance to the gallery.  Beautiful fresh Christmas plants including amaryllis and pointsettias are scattered around the room.”

Karla Cassidy Designs, Salem, MA
Space Decorated: The Gallery
“Karla Cassidy Designs incorporated wine corks, natural pine-cone, and silver mercury glass elements in the hanging garlands and wreath designs to compliment the industrial and modern space of the Gallery. We tried to soften our design look with miniature European trees planted in small mercury glass pots and hanging, decorated arborvitae wreaths. Our goal was to compliment the space, not compete with it.”

Lilac and Lily Floral Design and Event Styling, MA
Space Decorated: Exterior Entry & Dining Terrace
“From our design studio, located on Boston’s Beautiful Northshore, we create floral designs for weddings and events of all sizes, making each one a unique and beautiful representation of each client’s vision.  We take our inspiration from the simple elegance of Nature, and combine it with an endless array of floral textures and color combinations. We delight in creating fresh, innovative designs, and this holiday season, we were thrilled to be invited to participate in decorating LaBelle Winery.  We chose the building’s exterior space and were inspired by the neutral tones and elegant style of the building.  We wanted to keep the focus on the beauty of the architecture, so our chosen color palette incorporated beautiful metallic colors paired with natural elements such as sugar pinecones, seed pods, berries, and burlap.  We chose luxurious varieties of winter greens, such as Cedar, Blue Spruce, Magnolia, and Gold Tipped Juniper to work into the garlands and planters.  We also selected a variety of decorative balls in shades of gold, silver, copper and chartreuse.  Cedar garland strung along the walls and posts highlights the gorgeous entrance and beautiful light fixtures that grace the front of the building.  We thoroughly enjoyed decorating this amazing space, and hope you enjoy our creations this holiday season while visiting LaBelle Winery.”

PJ’s Flowers & Antiques, Bedford, NH
Space Decorated: Great Room
Patrick Hoffmann was inspired by the sense of being in a treehouse and the natural color palette of the LaBelle Winery’s Great Room.  Armed with a sample of the carpet, he incorporated those colors into the ribbons and holiday ornaments that adorn the chandeliers and wall sconces.  The branches sprouting from the wall sconces echo the trees that border the property.  The chandeliers are transformed into sparkling, shimmering bird’s nests.  The result is festive and enchanting, celebrating the December holidays as well as the winter season.

Rodney C. Woodman Florist, Milford, NH
Space Decorated: Vintage Room
“The Design Team at Woodman’s Florist, Milford, NH drew their inspiration for the Vintage Room from the beauty of LaBelle’s Vineyards.  Grapes, grapevine, leaves, wine corks and bottles are the highlights of this Holiday design. Rodney C. Woodman Florist, Inc. is a third generation family owned and operated business. We were founded in 1910 by Rodney C. Woodman, Sr. and are currently owned and operated by his granddaughter. Woodman’s is a full service florist offering local delivery to a wide area, as well as interstate and worldwide floral service.”

Works of Heart, Wilton, NH
Space Decorated: Bathrooms
“My inspiration for these pieces is the memories I have as a child growing up in NH, hiking in the woods with my father. I was inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds us during the holiday season. Using natural elements, I created a woodland scene, cardinals and all!!  My designs consist of two handcrafted NH grapevine Christmas trees with handcrafted NH birchwood containers with an assortment of Christmas greens.”

Also, fresh floral arrangements on the Tasting Room entry table are provided courtesy Fortin-Gage Florist and Royal Bouquet on alternating weeks.
